Boy killed, 4 hurt in road accident

CHARSADDA: A minor boy was killed and four others including two women and as many children sustained injuries when a vehicle in a marriage procession hit a bicycle near Khiali Bridge on Saturday, police said.

They said that three children were on the way home when a speeding motorcar (ZU-832) in a marriage procession struck their bicycle near Khiali bridge falling in the limits of the City Police Station.

As a result, Ahmad son of Asif Khan was killed on the spot while two others sustained injuries. Two women in the car also received minor injuries in the accident. The car driver managed to flee the scene.
