Zardari responsible for ‘destitute’ Sindh: Imran Khan

NAWABSHAH: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan said on Thursday that the people of Sindh suffered injustice unlike other provinces that has kept them in an underdeveloped state.

Imran was addressing a rally in Nawabshah – part of his party’s ongoing membership campaign for the upcoming General Elections.

He termed Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari as ‘the biggest disease’ and called him a reason of extreme poverty in Sindh. He said that no example of oppression faced by the people of Sindh would be found in an entire country. Referring to former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, the PTI chief called him ‘another disease’. He called both Sharif and Zardari, corrupt and deceitful politicians.

“Why was I ousted? It is now Zardari’s turn to ask”, he said.

“Zardari is to Bhutto what Safdar is to Sharif,” he quipped.  He pledged to fight against the oppressors and hoped that ‘the dark night’ will fade away soon.
