ISLAMABAD: The government is going to table a bill to extend Military Courts in the National Assembly on Monday and later it will be presented in the Senate.
The bill is aimed at extending the military courts’ term for another two years. Political consensus to this effect was reached after intensive consultations among the political parties of the country, after the expiry of military courts’ tenure in January this year.
The decision has been taken in view of the extra ordinary situation the country is passing through.
