This franchise model league will see the young, enthusiastic quality football players from all over the country representing their teams named after the prominent regions of Pakistan. The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has vowed all out support to the private sector to develop the game
of football.
In a statement on Tuesday, PFF President Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat said the foundations of football development which the PFF laid in the last decade was badly damaged due to the stoppage of football in Pakistan during the last three years.
“The PFF has started working in full swing to bring the game back on the right track but now is the time when each segment of Pakistani society should join hands with the PFF to match the rapid pace in growth of football in other countries of the region,” he added.
He also assured that the private sector, especially corporates will be encouraged by the PFF and provided full support and exposure to play their vital role in the process of football development in Pakistan.
