Imran should stop crying, accept his corruption: Minister

ISLAMABAD: Information and Broadcasting Minister Maryam Aurangzeb on Sunday said that the letters against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) officials were being written to National Accountability Bureau (NAB) by the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

Reacting to Imran Khan’s statement regarding Asad Qaiser, Maryam Aurangzeb said that instead of crying, Imran Khan should actually accept accountability of corruption. She said that Imran Khan has spoken around 26 million lies during the last three years.

“Wherever he gets a chance, he lies. It’s good that he has at least planted these trees. Had it not been for these trees, he wouldn’t have a single thing to show to the people of KP,” she said.

Maryam Aurangzeb said that PTI started to cry as soon as the party or its ministers were alleged of corruption in KP. “They kept hurling baseless accusations on others for three and half years and didn’t feel any shame. Now it’s useless to cry. It’s too late to act”, she said.

She further said that the real reason behind Imran Khan’s ‘failure’ as a politician was his ‘habit of lying’, negative politics and jealousy.

Responding to a question about KP Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser, Imran Khan had said that it was National Accountability Bureau (NAB) that said it wasn’t taking any action against Asad Qaiser. “I know that the ‘Motu Gang’ is behind the campaign against Asad Qaiser and I hope that Qaiser will go into litigation against them”, he said.
