ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif on Monday announced that Pakistan would send its delegations to different countries to raise the issue of Indian brutality in occupied Kashmir.
Addressing a news conference, the foreign minister said that India was ‘playing Holi with the blood of Kashmiris.’
In the recent wake of violence in the valley, at least 17 Kashmiri youths have been killed and around 200 injured.
The history of Muslims’ massacres in India’s Gujarat is being repeated in occupied Kashmir, said the foreign minister in his response.
Asif further said that he discussed Kashmir crisis with the Turkish and Iranian counterparts. “The Muslim nations have openly supported Pakistan’s stance on Kashmir,” added the minister.
He also pointed that the recently held federal cabinet meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, focused on a one-point agenda, the plight of Kashmiris.
He also told the media that the cabinet has agreed to send delegations to different countries in view of apprising them of human rights violation in Kashmir.
