Woman found dead

SHIKARPUR: A married woman identified as Parveen, 35, wife of Nimano Rind was found dead outside her Meer Khan Rind village, in the limits of Dakhan Police Station, some 35 kilometers away from Shikarpur, on Sunday. Police said she was spotted dead by some locals. According to her husband, she had gone out to her neighbour’s house on Saturday’s night and since then she was missing, police added. Police moved the dead body to the Civil Hospital Shikarpur for an autopsy. Later, the body was handed over to her relatives. Rumors were circulating that she was allegedly killed for honor; however, police had denied such rumours, and said that investigation were underway. A case was yet to be registered.
