MQM-P MNA Waseem Hussain jumps ship to PSP

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) MNA Syed Waseem Hussain has on Sunday announced that he will be joining Pak Sarzameen Party.

The lawmaker announced his decision during a press conference along with PSP President Anis Qaimkhani at the Pakistan House.

The lawmaker was elected from NA 220 constituency and after disputes between Farooq Sattar-led MQM-Pakistan and the Rabitta Committee, Waseem Hussain sided with the former.

On Thursday, federal lawmaker Dr Fauzia changed her loyalties and announced to join the PSP lead by Mustafa Kamal from MQM, while two party MPA’s, Naheed Begum and Naila Latif also jumped ships to PSP.
