KHYBER AGENCY: Pakhtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM) would hold a public gathering at Bacha Chowk in Landi Kotal on April 1.

PTM leader and FATA President Lawyers Forum Advocate Rahim Shah Afridi said that their struggle is dedicated to seek security and respect for the Pakhtun community that has been disrespected since years. PTM would never conflict with the state or any of its organs.

Standing with PTM members, he added “Our struggle is not based upon foreign agenda or anti-state elements but it’s purely based upon fundamental rights of Pakhtuns that are guaranteed by the Constitution”

Furthermore, he said that PTM had put forward five ‘legal’ demands that need to be considered as soon as possible. Since a decade, Pakhtun community has highly suffered during the war against terror. He urged the Pakhtun community to unite for restoration of its ‘lost’ status in the country.

According to PTM, central leadership would initiate a rally in Bara that would proceed to Bab-e-Khyber in Jamrud. Then, it would proceed to Landi Kotal where a huge public gathering is expected to be addressed by its central leadership.
