Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif said that the prosecution’s ‘star witness’ Wajid Zia’s testimony has washed away all the allegations against him, after appearing before the accountability court on Wednesday.

He further added that he cannot be punished in this case, if his political opponents want to punish him then they should forge his name in cases such as rental power, Hajj scandal or EOBI where billions of rupees were embezzled.
