LONDON: Speaker National Assembly and leader of Pakistan Muslim League-N, Ayaz Sadiq, on Saturday remarked that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will never leave Pakistan.

Sadiq in a conversation with the media officials stated that Nawaz Sharif will stay in Pakistan and fight whatever comes his way. He added that he has been doing it since the previous year and will keep on doing so in the future.

Speaker of the National Assembly responding to a question on the dismissal of Sharif’s exemption plea stated that allowing Nawaz to visit London wouldn’t have caused any problem, he should have been allowed to visit his wife on humanitarian grounds, as Begum Kalsoom Nawaz has been fighting cancer.

The accountability court dismissed Sharif family’s exemption plea from court hearings in Avenfield properties case on Thursday. The plea was filed by the defense counsel in the wake of new medical reports of Begum Kalsoom Nawaz, who is undergoing treatment for lymphoma in London since September 2017.
