Man arrested for killing father

KARACHI: Police on Tuesday arrested a man for the killing of his father. Police said the accused gave Rs 15,000 to his friend as contract money to kill his father. SITE Police Station House Officer Qamar Zaib Satti told Daily Times that two days ago police had found body of 60-year-old Sahab Shah from his house in Rasheed Abad. “During investigation it established that the man has a son namely Zafar who is being missing. Police launched a search for him and found him today who has accepted his crime and said that he was angry with his father over some domestic issues and beaten him to death with the help of his friend Ejaz,” Satti added. Police said they have launched a manhunt to arrest Ejaz who has fled to Mardan after the murder.
