Rallies observe Pakistan Resolution Day

JACOBABAD: Programs and rallies were organised by many organizations and political parties including Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf [PTI] and Shikarpur General Panchayat Pooj Hindu to celebrate 78th Pakistan Resolution Day on March 23rd with traditional zeal and patriotism on Friday.

According to reports, many programs were conducted at government schools and private institutions. Many political parties including Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf and Shikarpur General Panchayat Hindu Pooj carried rally from Rustam Chowk to Lakhi gate of Shikarpur. PTI carried a rally to Jacobabad DC Chowk and chanted slogans in favour of Pakistan. Jacobabad PTI leader Raaz Khan Pathan told reporters that they are proud to be Pakistani and they are proud of their Army.

A huge rally was led by advocate Syed Dur Muhammad Shah at Madeji town and other rallies were carried at Lakhi Ghulam Shah, Garhi Yasin and Khanpur to celebrate Pakistan Day.

Pakistan has been celebrating Pakistan Day or Pakistan Resolution Day since her freedom. Pakistan Resolution was passed in Lahore on 23rd of March, 1940 and is being observed as a national holiday in Pakistan.

Earlier on the day, a cake was cut by PTI representatives to celebrate Pakistan Day and Pakistani flags were distributed amongst the people of Jacobabad on the eve of Resolution Day.
