KARACHI: The Pakistan People’s Party would restore the confidence of the Baloch in democracy, which is the only option as the province is under the direct rule of Takht-e-Jati Umra, said PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday.

Bilawal said this while conducting interviews for the new organisation of divisions and districts of Balochistan at Bilawal House.

The Coordination Committee formed by him had sent its recommendations for the reorganizations.

The PPP chairman said that new office-bearers would be given special responsibilities to carry the mission of PPP founding father Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and slain PPP chairwoman Benazir Bhutto.

“Tell the people of your province that PPP stands with you and your rights to fair and free elections,” he said.

Bilawal pointed out that it was the PPP which made the Baloch owner of their natural resources and extended provincial autonomy to the provinces under 18th Constitutional Amendment.

The PPP will form government in Balochistan and other provinces after 2018 general elections, he added.

PPP Chairman’s Political Secretary Jameel Soomro, Balochistan PPP President Ali Muhammad Jattak, General Secretary Iqbal Shah, Information Secretary Sardar Sarbuland Jogezai, former Senate deputy chairman Sabir Baloch, Mir Sadiq Umrani and Ejaz Baloch were also present during the interviews.
