CTD foils terror bid in Multan

MULTAN: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Friday arrested four terrorists from Multan, while also recovered explosives and ammunition from them.

CTD Multan arrested four terrorists, identified as Ahmed Noor, Muhammad Shahbaz, Muhammad Asim and Zaheer Ahmed from Baber Chowk Southern Bypass in Multan.

According to the CTD, the terrorists were planning to attack Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) and sensitive installations in the city.

The counter-terror department conducted raids near Baber Chowk after receiving information from a credible source.

CTD also recovered a hand grenade, 2 kilograms of explosives, 2 IEDs among various others arms.
