Pakistan day message from Air chief marshal mujahid anwar khan, ni(m)

Author:

On the auspicious occasion of Pakistan Day, I extend warm felicitations to all citizens of Pakistan.

The historic day of 23 March, 1940 is a watershed in the arduous journey of our illustrious forefathers towards achieving an independent state for the Muslims of the subcontinent. Within a short span of just over seven years from this momentous day, the dream of independence was realised and our beloved country – Pakistan – came into being, where we live with dignity and honour.

The creation of a separate homeland was the result of unswerving commitment, indomitable will and supreme sacrifices of our ancestors who stood united under the visionary leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

Such is our glorious history that always inspires us to move forward against all odds. PAF played a leading role in war against terror and ensured peace in the country. Our resounding success in operation Zarb-e-Azb is a manifestation of the same. We are well-cognizant that eternal vigilance is the price of freedom. Pakistan is a peace-loving country of people who never compromise on sovereignty, rather protect it by all means, even by sacrificing their lives. I assure you that with the support of the brave people of Pakistan, PAF is fully prepared to face any challenge and thwart the nefarious designs of any adversary.

My Dear Countrymen! I am pleased that PAF has evolved into a modern air force with enormous capabilities and successfully produced JF-17 Thunder – the pride of Pakistan. I am confident that PAF’s commitment to self-reliance through indigenisation will ensure a more robust defence of the aerial frontiers of our motherland. The realisation of the Air University Aerospace & Aviation Campus at the “Aviation City” Kamra by PAF will not only fulfil PAF’s vision of industry-academia linkage but also open new vistas for Pakistan’s economic, diplomatic, technological and strategic gains. May Allah Almighty guide our efforts and give us strength to come up to the nation’s expectations. Aameen!

Pakistan Air Force Zindabad!

Pakistan Paindabad!
