RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Qamar Bajwa in a special video message on the occasion of Pakistan Day has pledged to rid the country of fasaadis (miscreants).
In a message shared by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) director general on Wednesday, the COAS reminded the nation of the passion and determination that led to the creation of Pakistan and called for the same enthusiasm to cleanse the country of miscreants. “On March 23, 1940, we resolved to create Pakistan and succeeded. Now let us all pledge to clean our country [of] the ‘fasaadi’ elements,” Gen Bajwa said. Other services chiefs have also recorded similar messages on Pakistan Day.
