SHIKARPUR: Unidentified armed men attacked two brothers near village Khaman-g-Waand, Shikarpur on Wednesday killing one while other managed to escape, police said. According to police, the incident occurred in the limits of Ghabar Shaikh Police Station when unidentified armed men attacked them with automatic weapons over what appears to be an old enmity. According to an official, Obaidullah Junejo, aged around 30, along with his younger brother, Haffezullah Junejo, were traveling towards their village on tractor, when some unidentified persons opened fire on them. Resultantly Obaidullah was killed on the spot while Hafeezullah managed to escape. Armed men fled away from crime scene soon after the incident, police said. Later on, body of deceased was shifted to Taluka Headhunters Hospital Madeji and handed over to heirs after completing medical formalities. The possible motive behind the incident was said to be old enmity between two groups of Junejo community. No First Information Report (FIR) was registered and no culprit was arrested till the filing of the story.
