ISLAMABAD: Fazlur Rehman, chief of his own faction of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday. During the meeting, matters pertaining to present political situation of the country came under discussion. Nawaz said, “If JUI-F had any reservations on the bill to give extension to military courts it should have informed us before opposing. PML (N) would try to resolve the reservation of JUI-F.” Fazl said, “We are allies of the government but we cannot agree on the religion and creed.” He said the JUI-F would support the bill if the government removed the words ‘religion’ and ‘creed’.
