Anti-polio drive in Rawalpindi from March 27

RAWALPINDI: Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Talat Mehmood Gondal said that polio campaign in 73 union councils of Rawalpindi districts will start from March 27 and end on March 31st.

He said this during a Review meeting held in Rawalpindi in connection with polio campaign. He further added that through this polio campaign 4, 16,000 children, aged below five years will be administered polio drops. He issued orders that all vaccinators be provided proper training before the start of campaign and all arrangements be made to make the drive a success.

He appealed to all parents to ensure that polio drops are administered to all their children in the age group below 5 to save them from disability.
