Mike Pence tells Abbasi to ‘do more’

WASHINGTON: United States (US) Vice President Mike Pence has on Sunday told Pakistan Prime Minister (PM) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi to ‘do more’ against the terrorists allegedly living in Pakistan.

In a meeting held at the Vice President’s residence, PM Abbasi was informed that US feared about the future of the Afghan peace process and reiterated that the threats to the post-US Afghanistan were still looming large.

He once again told Abbasi that Pakistan must act without any discrimination against all the terrorist networks operating in the country, including the Afghan Taliban, Haqqani Network and other elements that do not specifically operate in Afghanistan but do threaten the peace in other countries of the region.
