KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto on Thursday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise of senior PPP leader and former Sindh labour minister Khwaja Mohammad Awan, who passed away on Wednesday in Karachi after prolonged illness.
In a condolence message, the PPP chairman paid tributes to late Khwaja Mohammad Awan for his lifelong affiliation with the party and services and sacrifices during the struggle for democracy.
He said that late Awan shall remain in the memories of the party leadership and workers as a committed and loyal PPP leader who always remained in the forefront in the fight for masses right. Bilawal prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and granted courage and fortitude to the members of bereaved family.
