KARACHI: While taking notice of two blasts on railway tracks in the province, Inspector General Police (IGP) AD Khowaja sought reports from the relevant SPs immediately.
According to police sources, the first blast took place two kilometers away from Rohri railway station, whereas the second explosion occurred on Naushehro police railway track.
The IG directed DIGs of Sukkur and Shaheed Benazirabad to come up with reports on the blasts in their respective jurisdictions.
“Investigation into the matter should be carried out impartially to trace the motives behind the blasts and bring the culprits under the law. Intelligence information should be integrated in this regard,” he ordered.
