Bilawal will contest from Larkana: Khuhro

KARACHI: PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will contesting the upcoming general elections from NA-200 in Larkana, PPP Sindh chapter president Nisar Ahmed Khuhro announced on Friday.

“We challenge all opposition parties to field their candidates against Bilawal,” Khuhro said, adding that the PPP chairman would break all past records in number of votes polled in a single constituency.

NA-200 comprises Larkana city, Ratodero taluka and Aqil Town areas.

Previously, the constituency was known as NA-207. Shaheed Benazir Bhutto used to contest polls from the area. PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardar’s sister Faryal Talpur won the election on this seat in the last general election, defeating Ghinwa Bhutto of PPP-Shaheed Bhutto.

“The 2018 elections will be the first for Bilawal and the last for all his opponents,” Nisar Khuhro further said.

“The Senate elections have shown that Nawaz Sharif is going to lose in the general elections,” he claimed, adding that PPP workers were motivated to work day in and out for Bilawal’s victory. “PPP workers wish to see Bilawal on the Prime Minister’s seat,” he said, adding, “We will defeat the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in Punjab as well.”
