Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi has been conferred King Abdul Aziz Medal of Excellence award in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The naval chief was conferred the coveted award in a ceremony held in Riyadh.
According to a spokesman for the Pakistan Navy, Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi during the visit of Saudi Arabia met chief of General Staff of Royal Saudi Armed Forces and head of Royal Saudi Naval Forces.
They discussed professional matters and bilateral defence cooperation.
The chief of General Staff of Royal Saudi Armed Forces and head of Royal Saudi Naval Forces lauded the services of Pakistan Navy in maintaining peace and stability in the region.
Earlier in February, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force, was conferred King Abdul Aziz Medal of Excellence in Riyadh.
