British artist creates mural to honour the late Abdul Sattar Edhi

Author:

Abdul Sattar Edhi was a philanthropist who knew no bounds. He was not only recognised by the people of Pakistan, but his efforts were efforts were acknowledged globally.

Just recently, a British social worker by the name of Daniel Swan, drew a mural of Edhi in Trafalgar’s Square, London. He was moved by Eidhi’s selfless contributions and services in the name of humanity. The mural was created to honour the name of the late humanitarian who left this world on the 8th of July, 2016.

Swan is part of a UK-based organisation called People of Perception. On the website, he explains why he was triggered into helping out the homeless.

Swan, adding further, said that he would go out to the streets in the evening to help out the vagrant, and it is those experiences that completely changed his life.

“People do not have to suffer as they do. If only more of us helped each other, if only we lived by our love, we could change the whole world and find our riches within,” the artist penned down.

Currently, People of Perception is contributing to society by building homes and hostels for the homeless.
