KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan Rabita Committee (MQM-P) condemned the statement of MQM founder Altaf Hussain on requesting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to help the Mujahirs.

In a statement issued, the committee said that such statements intend to question the patriotism of Mujahirs.

“Muhajirs are patriot Pakistanis and their ancestors have devoted their entire lives in creation of separate Muslim homeland and their hearts beat for Pakistan,” the statement added.

The committee further vowed to counter every conspiracy questioning their patriotism and called Indian prime minister the butcher of Muslims.

However, Rabita Committee completely criticised Altaf Hussain’s call and renewed the party’s commitment to fail all enemy conspiracies against Pakistan and the Muhajir community.
