LEAs detain 36 suspects in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Police arrested at least 36 suspects from Gulberg and Pishtakhara area in Peshawar during a search operation on Saturday.

During the operation, over 200 houses were searched in Gulberg area and 16 people were arrested, including 12 suspected terrorists.

Moreover, another four were arrested for having incomplete tenancy documents.

According to police, drugs were recovered from arrested suspects.

Around 20 people were taken into custody by the police from Pishtakhra area. Moreover, two pistols, dozens of bullets and drugs were also detained.
