LAHORE: In a landmark partnership between the local government of Kasur and AugmentCare, a digital healthcare startup company, a healthcare initiative is being set up.
The new start-up aims at creating a connectivity network between patients and service providers such as doctors, pharmacies, laboratories and health insurance. Furthermore, through the platform patients can also set up video consultations with a vast network of doctors. This is an invaluable feature, especially for the RHC and Trauma centres that have a shortage of efficient medical help and can use this technology to effect change on a larger scale. Therefore, the RHC and trauma centers in Phool Nagar will be the first two locations that will undergo this change under the healthcare initiative in Kasur.
The next stage of this partnership would then involve working with the local government to initiate tele-health services for the citizens of Kasur.
