LAHORE: Pakistan Super League (PSL) team Peshawar Zalmi’s captain Darren Sammy on Saturday expressed shock over Shahid Afridi’s decision to step down as the president and player of the team.
Sammy, who replaced Afridi as the captain and won the second edition of PSL, is known to be close friends with the Pakistani star.
According to Sammy, he did not know about Afridi’s decision to quit the cricket team. In a tweet, he said that it was pleasure to play alongside Afridi.
