Pak Army has always supported national development: Sadiq Ali

LAHORE: Corps Commander Lieutenant General Sadiq Ali was the Chief Guest on the 5th convocation of CMH Lahore medical college.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that besides being the defenders of national frontiers, Pakistan Army has always supported national development.

He said that the Medical Corps’ effective role during natural calamities and military operations has been commendable.

He also emphasised that physical, mental and social health forms the basis of a strong nation; and provision of appropriate health services to the common man must be a national priority.

He stressed upon the need to have greater faith in the young generation as the future belonged to them.

He called for collectively efforts to give the next generation a favourable environment, to help them apply their knowledge and creativity towards national growth.

He commended the role of CMH Lahore Medical College in providing quality health education. Later, he awarded degrees and medals to the graduating students.
