LAHORE: Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif is set to arrive in Hyderabad on Monday as part of the ruling party’s plans to build support in Sindh.
According to sources, party leaders advised Nawaz to live up to his earlier promises of turning his focus to Sindh in order to change the perception that PML-N’s politics was Punjab-centric.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Rahila Magsi said that the PM, on his visit to Sindh, will hold meetings with party leaders and workers, and will also address a public gathering.
Magsi said the PM may announce a federal university, establishment of a 1,000-bed hospital, as well as a special development package for the city.
