No one can stop journey of progress in Pakistan: CM

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that people of Pakistan do not like negative politics rather they want development and progress and they will vote for it in upcoming general election.

According to a statement issued on Sunday, the chief minister said that politics of lie and impeachment would meet its logical fate and the voyage of development and prosperity would continue. He said that development and progress was the right of the people, which no one could stop.

“Those who halt the journey of progress are the enemy of the public,” he said, adding: I am serving people as a noble deed considering it worship and my last breath is dedicated for it. Today, Pakistan is more peaceful and economically developed as compared to the past and people are benefitting from the completion of energy, education, health and infrastructure projects.”

The chief minister said that Pakistan was moving forward on the road of development due to balanced policies of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). “Public welfare agenda is being carried out successfully.” Shehbaz said that the transparency and standard maintained by the PML-N government in uplift schemes was not only acknowledged by national institutions, but international organisations also.

He said that the leadership of PML-N had always preferred the politics of values which was the reason that it had made its place in the hearts of people.

He said after that the PML-N would be victorious in upcoming general election.

“The success of PML-N candidates in Senate elections is actually the victory of millions of people of Pakistan.”
