PM Sharif should have visited Sindh much earlier: Murad

LARKANA: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should have visited Sindh much earlier as Sindh is also part of Pakistan, said Syed Murad Ali Shah while talking to newsmen in Garhi Khuda Bux where he reached on Sunday to review the arrangements made thus far for the commemoration of 38th death anniversary of PPP founder Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.

He said strict action will be taken against any person who will break the law or is found in anti-state activities. CM in reply to a question said that garbage lifting vehicles are available in Karachi and debris is being removed. Later he attended a meeting of Mazar Committee which was presided over by PPP Sindh Chief Nisar Khuhro at Garhi Khuda Bux.

The meeting decided to hold a public meeting at 1.00 pm, speeches will start from 3.30 pm along with recitation of poetry and the gathering will be finish by 6.00 pm. PPP Central Executive Council meeting will be held at Bhutto House, Naundero, at 7.00 pm. The meeting was briefed by Commissioner Muhammad Abbas Baloch about the measures taken so far for the celebration of ZAB’s anniversary. CM directed that foolproof security arrangements must be ensured during the mega event in which central leadership will be addressing the gathering, smooth traffic flow must also be ensured so that guests who will participate should not encounter any difficulty.

Nisar Khuhro directed the district administration to install sign boards on all roads leading to Garhi Khuda Bux adding that cleanliness and lighting arrangements should also be improved. Khuhro further asked them to arrange cold drinking water facilities at all points and separate walk-through gates be installed for incoming & outgoing activists.

Chief Minister Shah claimed that millions of people attended the anniversary of martyred Benazir Bhutto’s anniversary and he hoped this time even more workers from all four corners of the country will take part because so many people are coming to the fold of PPP, he added. He directed party workers to take care of the participants at all costs.
