ISLAMABAD: The government has started the second phase of the Prime Minister’s Youth Training Programme.
During this phase, fifty thousand internships will be awarded to the youth who have completed sixteen years of education.
According to details, a quota of twenty five thousand has been allocated for Punjab, ninety five hundred for Sindh, three thousand for Balochistan, over fifty eight hundred for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, one thousand for Azad Kashmir and fifty eight hundred for Gilgit Baltistan, FATA and the Islamabad Capital Territory.
The internees will be paid twelve thousand rupees per month as a stipend during the one year long internship.
The internees will be placed in federal and provincial government departments, educational institutions and private sector bodies for enhancing their skills and employability.
