SHARJAH: PSL fixture between Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans was on Friday suspended after rain continued to pour in the evening.
Karachi Kings, who have won all 3 matches in the third edition of Pakistan Super league (PSL), won the toss and elected to bat first against Multan Sultans, but the match was suspended due to prolonged downpour.
Karachi Kings have been in rich form this season. The team has won all three of their fixtures by beating Quetta Gladiators, Peshawar Zalmi and Lahore Qalandars.
Multan Sultan debuted in PSL by beating Peshawar Zalmi in the opening fixture, Lahore Qalandars in second match, while they fell short against first season winners Islamabad United.
In the second PSL fixture later today, Lahore Qalandars will face Islamabad United as the Brendan McCullum led unit looks to register its first win in the tournament.
