‘More gas supply to Punjab is an attempt to buy elections’

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has said that the Sharif family wanted to buy next general elections by giving surplus supply of gas to Punjab as compared to other provinces.

In his message on a social networking site, Khan said, “Clear attempt by Sharif’s to buy elections in a bid to stay out prison. Great injustice to smaller provinces.”

It is pertinent to mention that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has announced 97 development schemes including gas supply to Punjab.
