‘Youth can restore lost glory of film, drama’

LAHORE: Film and drama artist Rashid Mehmood has said that film and drama industry in Pakistan has entered a new phase.

Addressing participants of an evening Alhamra Art Centre, jointly arranged by Pakistan Adbi Forum and Columnist Club on Monday, he said: “I am very positive that our youth will restore the lost glory of the film and drama.”

The evening was a mix of discussion on literature and poetry and life experience of Rashid Mehmood,

A number of pioneers in their respective domains were present at the ceremony. Among them were PILAC Director General Dr Sughra Sadaf, Tahir Server Meer, Asim Bukhari, Amjad Iqbal, Khalid Irshad Sufi and Safdar Ali Khan and others.

Speaking on the occasion, Pakistan Adbi Forum Chairmen Zabeeh Ullah Balaggan said that this forum was founded by globally recognised Ahmed Nadeem Qasmi.
