Police patronising land grabbers in Surjani: MDA

Author: Staff Report

KARACHI: The Malir Development Authority (MDA) has alleged that Surjani Police Station was facilitating encroachers and land grabbers in Scheme-45, Taiser Town.

In a letter to Inspector General of Police Sindh, Deputy Director Estate and Enforcement MDA claimed that Surjani Police Station was facilitating encroachers and land grabbers in Scheme-45, Taiser Town while the authority in this regard has already lodged FIRs against encroachers and land grabbers. But no action has been taken against encroachers and land grabbers by SHO Surjani Police Station, he added.

The allotted land has been encroached by the land mafia and in this connection MDA had made several attempts but area police did not take any action against the illegal activity of the encroachers. They are still constructing concrete structures and houses on the said land under the nose of area police, MDA claimed.
