PESHAWAR: Central Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Senator Siraj-ul-Haq has said that imperialist powers were coveting to pressurize the rulers to bring amendment in article 295C of blasphemy law but that day would be the last day for the rulers if any amendment was made in this regard.
He was addressing Khatm i Bukhari conference and certificates distribution ceremony in Jamia Hadiqat-ul-Uloom Almarkaz Islami in Peshawar on Monday.
He said that Jamaat-e-Islami was struggling against all un-Islamic practices in the country and for this reason they were fighting legal battle in Supreme Court and Federal Shariat Court to enact more laws against usury (interest based loans) and corruption.
He said that the students were facing challenges in the shape of secular ideologies and devil practices but with the mercy of God Almighty they would defeat such elements.
He mentioned that religious scholar have great contribution in the establishment of Pakistan and Mulvi Fazl Haq the mover of Pakistan resolution in 1940 had not been graduated from oxford university but he was student of these religious seminaries.
He pledged to spend huge budget on education and health after defense if Jamaat-e-Isami came into government saying Jamaat-e-Islami has better education agenda to reform the education system.
He said that they would graduate the students who would not join religious seminaries neither the seminaries student would need modern education system but they would be equally qualified in separate institution with same syllabus.
He vowed to bring a system of justice instead of expensive judicial process and center of justice would be mosques and seminaries instead of rushing behind politicians.
