SIALKOT: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Tuesday claimed to have foiled a major terror bid while rounding up two alleged proscribed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorists during a search operation in Sialkot.
On a tip-off, the CTD raided a hideout on Tuesday morning near Dhom Kot area on Pasrur Road and rounded up two suspected terrorists and recovered huge cache of explosives, detonators and massive rounds of cartridges from their possession.
The suspects were identified as Gulfarm Khan and Usman Anser, who were involved in carrying out terrorist attacks on law enforcing agencies in Sialkot region.
The CTD spokesperson informed that police have registered a case and started investigation.
