‘Experience gained in war on terror made Pakistani Army invincible’

RAWALPINDI: Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa said on Tuesday that Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad will bring long-lasting peace.

The COAS visited Bahawalpur Garrison on Tuesday and, during his address to the soldiers, he paid tribute to the sacrifices rendered by the troops and said that the army is ready to face any challenge.

“Experience and expertise gained over war on terror has made Pakistani armed forces invincible,” he said.

General Bajwa said that officers of the military are his pride, while soldiers are his true strength.Through the course of the visit, the COAS was briefed over operational vigilance of the troops and counter-terror operations.

General Bajwa has inaugurated Combined Military Hospital Institute of Medical Sciences in Bahawalpur.
