ANF foils heroin smuggling bid at Lahore airport

LAHORE: Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) on Friday foiled an attempt to smuggle heroin from Allama Iqbal International Airport to the United Kingdom.

Muhammad Kaleem, a resident of Rawalpindi, was arrested by the ANF after he was caught trying to smuggle 8 kilograms of heroin stuffed in leather jackets to the UK.

The suspect had consigned a private cargo company to deliver the jackets that contained heroin worth Rs80 million.
