SIALKOT: German Ambassador to Pakistan Martin Kobler on Tuesday paid a visit to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Sialkot, where he met patients injured due to Indian shelling along the line of control (LoC), a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

Pakistan has repeatedly lodged formal protests over the continued violations of the ceasefire agreement between both countries.

Earlier this week, driver of a school van was martyred in Dharamsal area by Indian forces in Battal sector in another LOC violation.

In another incident, Indian forces targetted civilian population in Jajot village along the LoC, which resulted in martyrdom of an eight-year-old boy.

In 2018, Indian forces carried out more than 150 ceasefire violations along the LoC and the Working Boundary, claiming the lives of nine innocent civilians, while injuring 40 others.
