DADU: Former Sindh chief minister and Awami Ithad Party (AIP) Chairman Liaquat Ali Jatoi has said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has smuggled billions of rupees to foreign countries, alleging that the money was generated through corruption in Sindh.
He was addressing a rally against corruption in Sindh at SSP Chowk Dadu on Wednesday. He said that he has never negotiated with the PML-N leaders, adding that he has advised Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to stand against Zardari and his corruption but instead of doing this, the PM has supported Zardari.
Jatoi said that the PPP-led Sindh government has ruined all the departments, adding that public was kept away from their basic rights including health, education, drinking water, electricity, as Sindh government was busy in corruption.
On that occasion, AIP leaders Syed Zafar Ali, Sardar Aishque Ali Khan Zanour, Kareem Ali Haji Hamzal, Anees Khushik, Dr Ghulam Abbas Mahess spoke to the rally.
