74 suspects held during search operations in Multan, Lodhran

MULTAN: Police and Law enforcement agencies carried out search operations in different parts of the country and apprehended 74 suspicious people including 10 Afghan nationals.

Sources stated that Rangers and security agencies conducted search operations in different areas of Mandi Bahauddin and nabbed 34 suspected people that included 10 Afghan Nationals.

Meanwhile 11 suspects were taken into custody after search operations were conducted in 11 different households in Lodhran, Basti Pakkan.

Police carried out search operation in Hafiz Abad and arrested 6 suspects. Heavy amount of weapons were also recovered from their possession.

However, 21 suspects were released after they were biometrically verified.

According to a police spokesperson, 24 suspects were apprehended from Bhakkhar after raids in the areas of Saraye Mehr and Mankera.

In Multan, police and law enforcement agencies conducted door to door biometric verification of 90 people under the rent act and held another four suspects.

Weapons were also recovered from their possession.

Police have shifted the suspects to an undisclosed location for further interrogation.
