QUETTA: Four Frontier Corps (FC) officials were martyred when unknown assailants opened fire at their vehicle in Balochistan’s capital on Wednesday.
According to Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Quetta Razzaq Cheema, the officials were conducting routine patrol when they were shot at in Dukkani Baba area of Sariab Road by bike-riding assailants.
The security officials sealed the area after the attack, while Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is said to have claimed the responsibility. The officials also confirmed that dead bodies of the martyred have been shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta.
