LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday heard a petition filed by MPA Nawab Khurram seeking disqualification of a former Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) legislator Muhammad Aslam over fake degree allegation, reported Daily Times.
According to details, Pakistan Muslim League – Quaid (PML-Q) MPA from Chakwal Nawab Khurram had filed a petition against Muhammad Aslam, who the petitioner claims had contested the 2007 election with a fake degree.
The petition was heard by Justice Sardar Shamim who summoned the record of the former legislator from Jhang’s session court. The petitioner claimed that Returning Officer had ordered filing a case against Muhammad Aslam but it wasn’t registered. He demanded the order to register case against Aslam.
