The SC, in its order, has defined ‘public property’ as roads, sidewalks, islands in centre of a road or service lane, overhead bridges and underpasses, overhead pedestrian walkways or bridges, roundabouts, green belts or dividers between a road, pedestrian lanes, nullahs (storm water drains) and banks of nullahs, traffic lights, spaces and buildings designated for religious use or public worship, protected or heritage buildings and historical sites, coastline, environmental planning zones and conservation areas and any protection zones, amenity plots, garden, towers including but not limited to cellular telephone base station towers, water towers, radio towers, silos and similar structures including any panels thereof and other space to which public has a right to access or which is commonly used by public.
