This they stated in a “Youth Convention 2018” organized by Maryam Development Society in collaboration with Department of Youth Affairs, Government of Sindh and University of Sindh, Jamshoro at Shaikh Ayaz Auditorium of the Faculty of Arts at SU yesterday.
Hundreds of students from across almost all departments and institutes of the varsity enthusiastically participated in the convention.
VC-SU Prof. Dr. Fateh Muhammad Burfat in his address as Chief Guest of the occasion shared that co-curricular activities greatly boosted confidence level of students and also serve as stimulus for students to express their feelings and sentiments. He congratulated Maryam Keerio of Maryam Development Society upon organizing the given productive event.
“I am glad to note extra-ordinary performance of SU students at the co-curricular and extra-curricular fronts. I have always been delighted to learned about SU students’ exceptional achievements in declamation, essay writing, quiz, performing arts, Qira’at, music and other such events at regional as well as national level”, said Dr. Burfat.
